Data privacy policy

In accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of 27 April, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (RGPD), and Article 11 of the Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPD-GDD), we provide interested parties with the following information regarding the processing of personal data in the organisation. Viajes El Corte Inglés, S.A., with registered office at calle Hermosilla, 112, 28009 Madrid (Spain), is responsible for the processing of the personal data provided by users.

The provision of your personal data is voluntary, and it is necessary to fill in all the data requested in order to identify you and process your request.

Purpose of processing

The purpose of the processing of this data is commercial, administrative and accounting management.

Legitimation

The legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract or, in the absence of a prior contractual relationship, the consent of the data subject.

Recipients and transfer of data

Personal data will be communicated to Agencia de Viajes el Corte Inglés, S.A., licensed C.I.C.-MA 59, with whom travel agency services are contracted, organising congresses and events and providing technical secretariat services. In cases where there is a legal obligation, the data will be communicated to the corresponding bodies. Personal data will not be communicated to third parties, except for the fulfilment of applicable legal obligations.

Retention period

Personal data will be retained for as long as the data subject does not request their deletion.

 

Cancellation policy

All cancellations or changes must be sent to Viajes El Corte Ingles in writing (e-mail: eemgs@viajeseci.es).

Registration cancellation policy

- Cancellations received before or on 1 March 2023 will be fully refunded minus a € 50,00 administration fee;
- Cancellations received after 1 March 2023 but before or on 15 April 2023 will be refunded 50% of the registration fee minus a € 50,00 administration fee;
- No refund will be made for cancellations received after 15 Abril 2023 or registered participants who fail to attend;
- No refunds will be made in case of cancelled sessions or program changes.

Accommodation cancellation policy

- Before March 12th: No charge.
- From March 13th to April 12th: 50% of the cost.
- From April 13th: 100% of costs. 

Refund

- The appropriate refunds will be made after EEMGS / SEMA 2023.
- Exchange rates differences and bank charges will be deducted.
